DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE
DOING BUSINESS WITH?

Brandywine Springfield Waterproofing Management Team

Have you ever wondered why most waterproofing companies seem conspicuously anonymous?  (so you can't find them when it's time to call them on their so-called guarantee?)  At Brandywine Springfield Waterproofing, we don't believe in hiding our tracks.  We want you to know who you are doing business with.  Our family has been here waterproofing homes for over 40 years, and we are proud tell you who we are and where we came from!

After gaining invaluable skills learned from his experience as a Green Beret in the U.S. Army, and obtaining his Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Villanova University, Bill Worthington started Brandywine Waterproofing in the mid 1980’s to compliment and expand his Father in Law’s Basement Waterproofing family operation while working for Bell Telephone as a Project Manager.  Bill joined the Delaware County and the Chester County Board of Realtors’ Affiliate Member Committees, meeting and working closely with many of today’s “Top Producers” in their early Real Estate careers.  Bill has expanded his membership and now belongs to 5 different Realtor Boards and serves on the Board of Directors for Suburban West.  His most cherished “bragging rite” is that his company has waterproofed the basements of more Realtors than any other company.

Sharing Bill’s work ethic and commitment to outstanding service is Bill’s wife Pat Worthington, who represents the company in various organizations such as the “Woman’s Referral Network,” “Chester County Women,” the Reading Women’s Council of Realtors and various Chambers of Commerce.  Pat is also responsible for the financial aspects of the Company.  Her background is in Accounting and Human Resources and she recently retired as a Benefits Manager from Wyeth.

Although having been involved in the family business on and off in various capacities since high school ,  it wasn't until 2003 that  Sean Worthington sold his computer consulting business which he formed shortly after Penn State University, and brought his entrepreneurial background to the family business on a full time basis. Sean’s IT skills and ability to utilize technology to make the business more efficient is translating into lower costs and overhead. Sean represents the 5th family member, and the third generation to join the company. This shows our staying  power as a company, and assures you that our Lifetime Guarantee is the best in the business - because you know we’ll be around for generations to come!

Rich Worthington is a proven, seasoned professional with an extensive business background built on the foundation of his Bachelor’s and MBA degrees from The Pennsylvania State University.  Having spent several years in the field of systems design, implementation and management, he brings this focused, analytical prospective to bear when reviewing water infiltration issues to provide customers with optimal, cost-effective solutions.  As a home improvement project enthusiast, Rich enjoys meeting with homeowners to help solve their problems, allowing them to derive more enjoyment and value from their homes.

Jim Knipe is a long time friend of the Worthington family. He is pleased to have joined this team & he looks forward to the opportunities that lie ahead.
