When water gets into your basement or crawlspace the consequences can be horrific. Memories lost due to water damage, the expense of replacing carpets or furniture, and the health risks of mold and mildew are just the tip of the iceberg.  Being the best in the business for over 40 years we have a GUARANTEED solution! 85% of the time when you see water in a basement or crawlspace the water is actually coming UP from below the house. As the ground gets saturated, water is looking for a place to go. Quite often up becomes an easier path than down through dense rock and dirt. As the water pushes up, it begins looking for weaknesses in the foundation of your house. This is known as Hydrostatic Pressure. Over time, as water penetrates and expands and contracts from freezing and thawing, cracks can develop. Once one crack develops all the way through, physics direct traffic and before long, you have water in your basement. Through 40 years of being the best in the business, we have learned how to outsmart the water. We know that water will always overcome any obstacle - just look at the Grand Canyon! The only way to solve this problem is to give the water an easier path, and channel the water away from your house. This is accomplished by installing a “French Drain”. When installing our High Capacity French Drain Systems, we break up your floor12-15” out, and dig 12-15” down around the perimeter of the problem area. We then lay down a bed of crushed stone, a 4” perforated PVC pipe, and add another layer of crushed stone on top. After that we re-cement the floor all the way up until about 1” from the wall. (except in cases where Radon systems are installed) We leave this slot to collect any water that might come in from above. The PVC pipes feed into a sump-pump container called a ‘crock’ that we place in one of the corners. The water feeds into the crock, and the sump pump pushes the water out of the crock, through the wall, and outside away from your foundation
