Crack Repairs

In our 50 years of experience, we have learned that when it comes to water getting in through a foundation crack, there is only one truly, guaranteed effective way to deal with it, and that is to seal it from the OUTSIDE!  Epoxy injection and soil injection methods are simply too undependable.  Soil shrinks and expands with fluctuations in precipitation, causing the soil injected chemicals to shift along with it.  When cracks are repaired from the inside using epoxy injection, when the house shifts further and the crack widens, the epoxy does not widen with it, and you will end up with another leak in the very same spot you paid to have fixed!   If you truly want to protect your investment, you need to seal the crack from the outside.  We start by digging all the way down to the footer.  Once we've excavated the area, we then fill the crack with silicon epoxy caulk.  Next we coat the entire area in roofing cement (the black stuff).  Next we add a thick tar paper membrane, and cover that with more Roofing cement.  Then we cover the entire area with thick mill plastic sheeting, and even more roofing cement.   Finally we add a layer of styrofoam sheeting to protect against roots and stones.  Once the dirt is put back, there is no way water is getting through that crack, GUARANTEED!
