 Battery Back-Up Systems |
Our Battery Backup Systems consist of a supplemental 12 Volt pump, a
self contained 10 Amp charger, and a heavy duty, deep cycle marine
battery. These systems can pump up to 900 gallons per hour at a
10' dynamic head with a properly charged battery. The battery
backup systems serves several purposes. 1) in the event of a power outage, the backup system will take over and provide you un-interrupted protection. 2) In the event of a failure of the primary pump (burnout, obstruction, mechanical malfunction, etc) the backup system will provide protection even if you haven't lost power. 3) In the event that you haven't lost power, and the primary pump is working correctly, but the volume is too great for the primary pump - the backup system will kick and and provide increased output capacity. |
